Between school, night classes for college, being in 2 art shows and organizing another, I've been so mentally preoccupied I havent felt like I should be creating anything anymore. Isn't that sad? I havent vacationed anywhere yet but I'd love to go somewhere. I hate thinking that schools going to come back soon feeling like I havent even started my summer yet. I know it seems like I've been slacking art wise and maybe I have but maybe this is going to turn out to be something positive.

I haven't made any art that I felt was really special since the archway. I have this new idea that I really like but I just need to keep motivated with it. I have been in a bad art block this whole summer and the beginning of this year and the only way to prove to myself that I can still create is if this turns into a reality. I need to just keep pushing forawrd. You can do it. This is a motivation letter to myself. So many people have made amazing art in the past- what was in their head a reality.
